Atreyee and Poulami have researched extensively on the Ghats by the Hooghly and made an award winning Documentary. They will talk about the Ghats and share snippets of the film.

These two young girls have walked the talk and grew up in Old Calcutta surrounded by the glorious mansions and along the Ghats. When other kids were watching TV, they explored the nooks and crannies of these areas. Their talk was enriched with beautiful pictures, clips from their films, lots of facts and trivia.
What was evident was the decay of this once vibrant area that docked ships with riches, that stood as memorials to the rich zamindars, which witnessed a bygone area that was splendid.
