Our All Faith Walk ended at 41 CR Avenue a beautiful home once upon a time to focus on how homes can be reused. Here a treat awaited us. Oganised by Papia Das. She has a beautiful old home and refuses to let go. Reuse adaptive reuse is a valid option for these homes to live on. But how?
Conservation, reuse is a laudable initiative. Generally for old home owners the expense to rid of damp, repair the plumbing, and a general overhaul of these beautiful structures needs large budgets. There is an increasing outcry to not destroy a rich past and legacy. We need a road map. We need to put these owners in touch with investors and hand hold them through the process. We have to come forward, support and actively reuse. Let this be a showcase. Let us move in the right direction
